About the Department
- The Department of Undergraduate Economics was established in the year 1975 along with the inception of the college
- A well-established learning infrastructure of the college supports our department for all teaching-learning activities
- Qualified and committed faculty
- Our faculty is using ICT enabled blended teaching methods to enrich the learning experience of student
- The department has a standard set of Programme Specific Outcomes and Course Outcomes.
- CBCS curriculum is offered, with a choice of elective papers along with compulsory papers
- NEP-2020 is being implemented from the current academic year 2021-22
- Economics books with 3071 volumes available in the college library
- The department has been achieving a good academic result every year
- We are trying to achieve overall development of the students to meet the expectations to support their career and to use the knowledge of Economics for their future endeavor

- To induce the young minds and discover their talents, through dedication to Teaching , commitment to students and innovative instructional methods
