About the Department

Computer Science department is established in 2006. Computers are used in education both as a subject and tool to give guidelines in learning process for technical and non-technical students. Computer lab is center for learning about computer and its use. In lab students are allowed to learn about use of software, Operating System, Networking and learn  programming languages for computer science students.

Non computer science students are also use the computer lab, they learn basics knowledge of computer, accessing of computer, Browsing, MS Office.

New syllabus as per UGC guidelines (practical components) with CBCS scheme is introduced from 2018-19.

Students also engage with a team of resource persons on a regular basis, to prepare for corporate field and to enhance their knowledge of current software and capacity for logical and analytical reasoning thinking and problem-solving.

 The college has provided computer lab facilities to the computer science department and Computer science subject is taught effectively C, Data Structure, Java,DBMS,HTML lab programmes.

The department has 2 laboratories with 49 well equipped  systems. The abstract computer science ideas are demonstrated by using C, Data Structure, Java, DBMS,web designing,HTML… .
